Why I do this
What I love is the moment an owner realises something that's frustrated them for years can just… stop being a problem. Watching someone pick up a tool and do something they didn't think they could — that's the best part of the job, and it's why I keep doing it.
780 Logic is the calm version of that. I help owner-led businesses cut the busywork, make sense of their information, and use AI where it pulls its weight — and leave it out where it doesn't. I care more about whether your Tuesday got easier than about whatever's trending this week.
Founder-led technology and AI consultancy based in Staffordshire, working with businesses across the UK.
I build and teach, because it keeps me honest. The tools my clients use every day — quoting from a phone on a job site, websites that update themselves — I built, and I use the same approach in my own business daily.
I don't work alone, either — I bring in trusted partners when a job calls for it, so you get the right expertise without the runaround.
Twenty-five years in, the belief is simple: technology should make your people better at their work and your customers better looked after — never quietly push them out. If that's the kind of help you're after, let's talk.
Good foundations pay off, whatever you build on them
Most technology problems aren't about whatever's newest — they're about what it's sitting on. Bolt anything clever onto shaky systems and you get expensive noise. Get the basics steady — the environments set up properly, devices secure, networks that don't drop, data you can trust — and everything you add next actually works.
A straight second opinion
Sometimes the most valuable thing isn't a build — it's clear advice on your technology and your next move, even when the answer is "leave it alone".
Tools I use — not badges I wear
I'm not tied to any one vendor, and I'm not here to sell you licences. I use whatever fits your problem best — Microsoft, Google, Claude, ChatGPT — and I'll help you get far more out of the ones you're already paying for.
Your data, your call
Whatever we use, the rules don't change. Your data lives somewhere you can point to, under an agreement you can read, with access you decide.
What I recommend comes down to fit — what you've already got, what suits the job, and what I know how to set up properly after 25 years of doing it. Often that's something proven like Google or Microsoft. Sometimes it's more specialist. Where there's a referral or partner arrangement behind a recommendation, it follows that choice — it never makes it.
How working together works
Do you work remotely?
Mostly, yes — with visits where being in the room helps. Wherever you are in the UK, the first chat is a call.
What happens to what I share?
It stays between us. Your data lives somewhere you can point to, under an agreement you can read, with access you decide — and I'm happy to sign an NDA before we start.
